How long does it take for you to ship jewelry, prints, or pottery?
Shipping times vary for items purchased. Jewelry, pottery, stickers and original paintings purchased directly from the online store will be shipped ASAP - usually between 2 - 9 days. Giclee art prints purchased from the online store are printed on demand and can take roughly 3 - 4 weeks to ship and recieve. Any items that are printed on demand will have a disclosure included on the item’s description in the shop.
Commissioned, made - to - order jewelry, pottery, paintings, or special requests shipping times will vary. Please contact the artist directly if you are commissioning a piece to discuss exact shipping dates and times.
My item(s) arrived damaged, can you refund me?
At the moment, all of my sales are final and non - refundable. Once the item ships, I can no longer be responsible for how it is handled in transit. I am an independent artist creating everything by hand and running my business solo, so I cannot afford to refund people once items have already been created and purchased. I do my best to package items well so that no damages will occur in transit. If you are concerned and wanting to purchase extra insurance for shipping, please contact me directly to discuss your needs. You can find my contact info on the ‘connect’ page of my website, or click below.
Care information for Copper + Brass Jewelry
Copper and brass jewelry naturally changes color over time. When brass and copper are exposed to the elements, they begin to develop a patina. If you prefer your jewelry to stay shiny and bright, you can purchase some extra fine steel wool from any hardware store. You can gently scrub at the copper or brass jewelry to remove the patina and return your jewelry to a more shiny finish.
Some people’s skin may turn green when wearing natural metals. I coat all of my rings and bracelets with a natural polish to prevent this, but the polish does wear off over time. Your skin turning green is a reaction from the copper and the PH levels of your skin. I reccommend to not wear any of my jewelry while swimming or showering so that your jewelry can last as long as possible.
“Wearing copper has several important benefits: First, copper is an essential mineral for humans, and wearing copper jewelry has the benefit of slow copper absorption- perfect for proper assimilation. It’s also been claimed that headaches, arthritis, joint pain, and other deficiencies can be effectively treated with the aid of copper or brass jewelry.”
Fixing broken jewelry
I create my jewelry pieces with the intention that they will last a long time, using high quality metals, gemstones, ear wires, and beads, and natural materials. However, life is inevitable and sometimes jewelry can break with consistent wear. I offer jewelry repairs to clients who have purchased my work. The client pays shipping both ways and a fee ranging from $5 - $15 for repairs, depending on what is needed. Please send me an email or send a message through my website if you are seeking jewelry repairs for your item(s).
